Psychological testing is the administration of various psychological tests. Psychological tests are administered by trained professionals.
A person's responses are scored evaluated according to carefully prescribed guidelines and norms.
Scores are thought to reflect individual or group differences in the construct the test reports to measure.
Psychological testing can help professionals and clients gain an advanced understanding of a client's complex struggles, aid in diagnosis, and help inform the best treatment for the client's issues.
